Child Find Policy
Child Find Statement
Dear Parent/Guardian,
Thank you for making a decision to enroll your child in our educational program. Imhotep Institute Charter High School makes a sincere effort to ensure all scholars make meaningful progress in the general education curriculum and graduate from high school ready to pursue their post-secondary goals. To that end, we offer free additional support and screenings to identify scholars who may need additional supplemental educational interventions to meet this expectation.
In compliance with federal law, we will provide services to each protected scholar with a disability, without discrimination or cost to the student or family, those related aids, services or accommodations which are needed to provide equal opportunity to participate in and obtain the benefits of the school program and extracurricular activities to the maximum extent appropriate to the student's abilities. These services for students with disabilities are provided regardless of the severity of disability.
If you feel your child needs additional services, contact the following individuals:
Our Child Find Process includes the following procedures at no cost to families:
-
- Yearly School-Wide Academic Screenings
